Technique for delivering medications as fine inhaled droplets. A nebulizer converts liquid medications into a breathable mist. In BO, it allows bronchodilators, corticosteroids, and mucolytics to be delivered directly to the lungs. Particularly suitable for young children who cannot use standard inhalers.
